Guest guest
Hello EveryoneI'm sorry for posting this link as I know you'll find it upsetting but I find this story entirely too appalling to ignore. Earlier we had discussions about how it was apparent from the interviews of people in the POD lines that many did not need the free food and should really be letting those in greater need have a chance. Well, this "teacher" is an example of one of these callous individuals. Apparently she had stumbled into a POD line be accident, received the free food, water and ice and had been then repeatedly going out to collect as much of the free food as possible even though she had only suffered minimal damage and was still being paid even though the school was closed.I suppose this woman just happens to be so emotionally immature that she was oblivious to the suffering around her but as a teacher, she should be held to higher standards than would normally be the case. All I can say is that the least that the public will and should accept is that this woman looses her job.http://www.khou.com/news/local/stories/khou080918_mh_teacher_MREs.8c4fa377.htmlRegards,
