fevers and speech delay

i am writing to see if any other children with have had major speech delay

my child is going to be 3 and has been diag. by the state of having autism but

then a pedtrician pyharist said that he in not austic he has frontal lobe damage

and put him on namenda i need to see if this is a normal side effect w this

illness

Hi

My son does have an expressive speech delay. His receptive language is right on

track however. I did have a difficult pregnancy and my son was premature and

just weighed over 4 pounds, so we are not sure the impact that has on him as

well.

One piece of is that the child grows and develops normally, but with that

being said, a child with a could have speech delays etc that are not

related to the syndrome.
