Trying to understand more about hep c!!

Hi Everyone! Just was diagnosed a little over a week ago w/ hep C. Had

some blood work done, my doctor's office called to say my liver

enzymes were high and to avoid alcohol. Not a problem, since I don't

drink. My question is... what do these elevated enzymes mean? Any

feedback would be good... as I am the dummy of all dummies when it

comes to this subject.
