Guest guest
My neighbor has two sons. The older one always gets sick and the younger one doesn't. We'd always say that our two boys are the sickest kids we've ever met and we were the only ones who could relate to the crazy fevers. Well, her sons fevers didn't seem quite as predictable as my sons so it never occurred to me... until yesterday! He's in the middle of an episode and she's telling me all of his symptoms and it clicked. There were a lot of similarities to my son during an episode. She never tracked the fevers and I was so wrapped up with my son that I didn't give it much thought. Besides, how likely that our neighbor has this same rare condition??? So she took him to the ped today and called me to tell me her Dr mentioned something seemed somewhat cyclical with his " viruses " and asked if she'd heard of !!! They're now undergoing blood tests and he asked her to track all of the fevers. Guess they'll undergo the other testing too, but... so very strange. What are the odds? We haven't seen them in a while so it's not like they are sharing something back and forth. Also, both boys started this fevering thing before we moved into town. Just thought I'd share.
