Guest guest
I was just wondering if anyone has experienced heavy eye blinking along with headache when their child is fevering. My son (2 years old) seems to show this as one of his first symptoms, along with belly pain before a fever comes on. It has been becoming a lot worse each month. He just started colchicine last week and started a fever this morning. Hopefully he started his fever because he just wasn't on the medicine long enough for it to start working. Thanks
Guest guest
Hello! Our three year old daughter, fevering since 9months, started complaiing of headaches earlier this year. I took her to her pediatrician because of the headache complaints and the very visible veins on her forehead. We discovered her blood pressure was high. Since, she had complained of headaches with each fever. >
Guest guest
My son has a visible vein between his eyes on the upper part of his nose closer to the forehead. Do the veins appear more when she is fevering with headache?

Guest guest
Yes. 's veins are typically not visible. Whens he complains of a headache the veins near her temples are obvious. The visible veins combined with the complaint of a headache is what lead me to contact our pediatrician. At the risk of jinxing us.... has't fevered since August. Prior to that, she had four cycles where she complained of headaches. Her blood pressure was elevated, but on the high side of normal. Not high enough for concern....at least with the medical professionals.

Guest guest
Hi Pam. Thanks for the info. My son is definately sensitive to light during his fever. It has been getting worse, to where he has been wearing sunglasses in the house. He also states that he can't walk and for us to hold him. He may have leg pain and hurts to walk also. Thanks again, it's nice to know we are not alone.
