question about heavy eye blinking and headache

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced heavy eye blinking along

with headache when their child is fevering. My son (2 years old) seems

to show this as one of his first symptoms, along with belly pain before

a fever comes on. It has been becoming a lot worse each month. He just

started colchicine last week and started a fever this morning.

Hopefully he started his fever because he just wasn't on the medicine

long enough for it to start working.

Thanks

Hi Pam. Thanks for the info. My son is definately sensitive to light

during his fever. It has been getting worse, to where he has been

wearing sunglasses in the house. He also states that he can't walk and

for us to hold him. He may have leg pain and hurts to walk also.

Thanks again, it's nice to know we are not alone.

Hello! Our daughter also complains of leg pain. Ocassionally, so

badly she says she can't walk. wanting to be held all the

time was always the signal the fever was coming, as if she knew well

before it started. Even the montsh she has gone without the fever, the

leg pain persists during what would be a fever episode. We have had x-

rays done, and as with most things, everything is normal.

Our son always complained of leg pain too.  He never wanted to walk even when

" healthy " .  Landon had a T & A in Sept., has been fever free so far and no

complaints of leg pain anymore.  He walks everywhere we go and never asks to be

carried.
