Guest guest
I was just wondering if anyone has experienced heavy eye blinking along with headache when their child is fevering. My son (2 years old) seems to show this as one of his first symptoms, along with belly pain before a fever comes on. It has been becoming a lot worse each month. He just started colchicine last week and started a fever this morning. Hopefully he started his fever because he just wasn't on the medicine long enough for it to start working. Thanks
Guest guest
Hello! Our three year old daughter, fevering since 9months, started complaiing of headaches earlier this year. I took her to her pediatrician because of the headache complaints and the very visible veins on her forehead. We discovered her blood pressure was high. Since, she had complained of headaches with each fever. >

Guest guest
, Just wanted to reply to your post about eye blinking and head ache. My son is 5 and started fevering at 8 months old. Now that he is able to talk about it he tells me that he gets horrible head aches and also horrible stomach aches. I have read of others with the same complaints, typical of periodic fevers. Also, the eye blinking could be a sensitivity to light. My son has always been really sensitive to light during fevers. He also gets leg pains and it hurts to walk. Hope that helps a little. Maybe my guy can be the words for your little guy. I was so glad when he could really communicate to me how he felt so that I could understand better. Guest guest
Hello! Our daughter also complains of leg pain. Ocassionally, so badly she says she can't walk. wanting to be held all the time was always the signal the fever was coming, as if she knew well before it started. Even the montsh she has gone without the fever, the leg pain persists during what would be a fever episode. We have had x- rays done, and as with most things, everything is normal.
