This sounds great Jacki! You say they use it at school? That would be awesome! I'll check with our school to see if they could acquire it for Davey's Classroom. (Does it have math help?)

jacki, where does michael go to school/what system? i have tried getting my child's school to do any technology adapted, i would have liked for them to have a smart board or vizzle or something..nothing which surprises me for a special education program.

Our school system uses it in both of my boys classrooms' (autism and Down syndrome). They use it with a Smart Board and it is awesome! It can be used with all levels of functioning because the teachers can make up their own lessons if they choose. It can reinforce the regular education classroom's curriculum, so it is not just for "low-functioning" kids. They have science, social studies, math and language arts lessons on there to name a few. You can sign up for a free trial at home to check it out. You can also sign up to have it at home and if your district owns it, you get it for a discount.LaurieFrom: imaparent41

Laurie,Unless they have made changes, I did have a trial of this which lasted 3 months. My son functions somewhere in the "moderate high" range and is on grade level academically. They must have made changes because everything was way too easy. AmyFrom: imaparent41
