Guest guest
i just had an awful experience in amazone. to all who doesn't know this place, it's basically an indoor playground and you pay charge for the kids to play. my son, tristan who is 7 is on the spectrum was playing and he had pizza on his hand. my sister heard the girl *a staff member* tell my son rudely to get off the playground coz food isn't allowed. to my son's defense, my sister said we'll get him and he is autistic so he doesn't understand. this being said, she said that 2 parents complained already about tristan. so, my sister in law said, did you tell them he has autism and the staff said yes. my sister who heard everything got really upset and told the girl off about being rude and discriminating tristan. just for info, i wasn't here nor was i apart of this conversation coz i was in the car fixing stuff and i brought tristan out already. when i went back inside just to help clean out our mess (we had a bday party) i saw the girl point towards me and tell her manager, that's the mom. after that i saw the manager go to me and attack me and saying her staff just was doing her job. i told the manager that tristan doesn't understand it. you might tell him 10 times or a hundred time if he doesnt know you, he wouldnt mind what your'e saying. my point is she could have gone to me right away and not be rude to tristan. if a child is being a rascal or being bad, i would understand the rudeness of the attack. but tristan only had a pizza in his hand and eating. there comes a point where i lose my cool and this was 1 of them. it is hard to have a child in the spectrum and it is hard to get thru to them. the stress of this is too much already and then you try and bring them somewhere they would have fun and just be free and they get hard stares or mistreatment. this should stop! kids in the spectrum have a mind and a world on their own... when will REGULAR people get this?! sorry for the bitterness, this just hurt my feelings bad. chie campos
