Neurologist Dr. Nevada , MD and

Speech Therapist Jocelyn Geib, MA, CCC/SLP

Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 7pm

Common Neurological Conditions:The impact on our children at school &  what we can do to help them

Join us as Dr. Nevada , MD and Jocelyn Geib, MA CCC/SLP of KidsLink Neurobehavioral Center openly discuss common neurological conditions like Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD/ADD, OCD and Bi-Polar Disorder and its  impact on children at school.  Dr. and Ms. Geib will provide us with real solutions to medical and speech challenges and also provide time for parent questions and answers.

Dr. Nevada is a board certified pediatric neurologist.  She was named medical director of the Autism Program at Akron Children’s Hospital and served on the Ohio Autism Taskforce.  She is now serving an appointed position on the Advisory Board of OCALI.  Dr. enjoys treating children with a variety of neurological needs and believes that family involvement is essential for the best medical care.

Jocelyn Geib is a licensed speech and language pathologist & director of speech pathology services at KidsLink School.  Ms. Geib has worked in the area of behavior management for the past 14 years.  She serves on the advisory board for OCALI and the National Association of Autism— Northeast OH chapter.

This event is open to anyone interested in attending, not just Billiart School families. Please pass this  on and bring a friend!  Light refreshments will be provided.
