Guest guest
A lot of kids around here have a diagnosis of autism but I have to say they are nothing like my son.... cos they speak/communicate well, have friends, do academics well , sing in music programs or play team sports .....no OCD or SIBs or learning difficulties. Perhaps there isn't the above horrific increase in kids at this severe end of the spectrum ?... just frightened that in creating autism awareness kids/young adults at this end of the spectrum are getting forgotten. > > > > > > Estimated rates of autism among U.S. children in 2012:7 year olds – 1 in 486 year olds – 1 in 425 year olds – 1 in 374 year olds – 1 in 333 year olds – 1 in 29http://vaxtruth.org/2012/04/when-1-in-88-is-really-1-in-29/ x >
