Guest guest
Several years ago a college student here woke up a bit hungry. Instead of going down to the cafeteria in her dorm, she ate some left over takeout that her roommate had put in their room refrigerator. Within minutes she realized that she had eaaten something with peanut[oil] in it. She called 911 herself, gave herself an epi pen injection, was alert and talkative when rescue crew arrived. She crashed on the way to the hospital and was unable to be revived. I also have a nephew who carries and epi pen for this same peanut allergy. Ingestion would probably put him in similar circemstances. I have often wondered if the seizures we see here are re to anaphylaxis - the blueness, collapse etc mimic that. > > Hi guys, My son recently suffered anaphylactic shock having until that point merely had food intolerances. Does anybody know any link between leaky gut (or ASC) and anyphyllaxis? Just digging around trying to make sense of this. a x >
