antibiotics and hives

We just found out my daughter is allergic to a certain group of

antibiotics. She got gives hives after a round of them for an ear

infection. She got pale and her top lip had a bluish tint to it. I

actually thought she was getting a fever, this is what she does when

she begins fevering with . Then the hives came out, and she

feels fine. So many unknowns, it gets to be so upsetting.

Has anyone else experienced this? I wonder if it is at all related to

and the immune system.
