Wikipedia has a fairly good explanation of the different types of

muscular dystrophy. My best friend has Limb-Girdle and was diagnosed

when she was 12. So, I know a good bit about that particular form of

it and I can say with certainty that you do not have limb girdle MD.

However, there are many different types that onset at different ages

with varying symptoms. The really good thing is that the diagnosis is

generally a very easy process. Just a simple blood test in which they

will look for the genetic markers. Hope this helps.
