Guest guest
, Im sorry to hear that the tonsillectomy was not a 100% successful. My son, who is 3, had a tonsillectomy in May of this year and is also still experiencing symptoms. I can say, however, that some of his symptoms have completely subsided, but others have remained strong to date. We are in the process of searching for a treatment for him. I have posted a few things on his condition. How does your sons blood-work look? Has he had abnormal CBC's? One of the problems my son keeps having is a drop in his white cell count. We are still trying to determine if it is strictly related to or if it is a second condition. One dr says yes, the other says no...Its definitely a process. One that seems to utilize all of your energy (physically and emotionally). Best of luck with your son. I will be posting more info as I get it. Guest guest
My son started a fever 4 days after his T & A, which we aborted with steroids. He also fevered 3.5 weeks post-op, but it only lasted less than 48 hours. We were concerned that the T & A did not help with the fevers, but he is currently 5 months fever-free. There is still hope, Melody
