Guest guest
, my 5 year old child, turns out has 6 cavities and needs two children's root canals (pulpatomy). They did one root canal last week but today the Dentist told me that it is now infected and you can even see the ball of puss under his gum right under the tooth. So, now we have to pull it. He's on Amoxocillan as of tonight for the infection. They want to pull it ASAP. So, here's my question. Has anyone noticed any of your children getting more cavities than the norm AND is it ok to pull this tooth with out an special medical considerations for a child? Are there any precautions I need to take? I am going to an Oral Surgeon (MD)for the extraction but shes not familar W/ . Any help appriciated. nna in NY
