Guest guest
Corrine, I know most children with probably don't have allergies with their periodic fevers, but mine does. He is allergic to all dairy, eggs, soy, and trees (which has now led to asthma.) I have noted on this site before how interesting it is that , food allergies, asthma, autism, and ADHA are all theorized by some to be associated with inflammation and the autoimmune system (or over-active immune system.) I am so curious as to if there will ever be a link drawn scientifically. Also, I have often read on this site that parents feel that children somtimes get epidsodes after stress or illness. I have often wondered if a reaction to a food has brought on a fever episode in my son. I can understand you frustration with the allergies on top of the fevers to deal with. I hope you find a wonderful doctor. Maybe an immunologist would help. I would definitely try to get into the NIH study in Bethesda, land. There is a link to contact the nurse for the study on this site.
