Just to share my experience - I've been on spiro for about 4 months. Had terrible breast pain to start with (just like the pain I had at the very beginning of my first pregnancy)but it's now gone. I also had disrupted menstruation - that may have settled now but I probably need another 6 months to be sure. My 'slight hirsutism' (my consultant's words) has stayed the same.
