Until my doctor tells me that Statins have selective muscles that

it damages, I will pass. I already have heart muscle damage. I think

if it damages muscles in my legs

and arms, it will damage my heart.

genetic high cholesterol for the past 20 years. No thanks.

I had an extremely bad experience with statins: vomiting, diarrhea, and very bad muscles' pain. Finally in a hospital the doctors cancelled them. My cholesterol didn't become worse after that :-) Natalia Kamneva 67 Russian F with 2 cm left adrenal adenoma, diabetic; on 100 mg eplerenone, 80 mg Micardis, 2000 mg metformin, 60 mg Dexilant and 2 mg Lorazepam; Dashing; still have some occasional problems with BP, K and Na; on private consultation with Dr Grim.
