This is another site that is not favorable. Out of 733 patients, 244 end up in the hospital and 38 died. Consider yourself fortunate that it is helping you and there is no side effects. For myself, if I needed it, I would not take it. The odds are too high for me. All I did was Google "Boniva side effects". There is even a law site for people who has problems with Boniva. Nancie, I truly believe in the doctor's oath "Do no harm", and, yet, there are too many pharmaceuticals that do harm. I cannot help but wonder at the interaction between pharmaceuticals, especially the newer ones. The FDA approves these at the Pharmaceutical companies request without know how the new pharmaceuticals will interact with other pharmaceuticals. This is not about helping people, it is about Pharmaceutical Companies making a profit. What is the FDA about? I don't know, but I do know that are not protecting the people.
