Guest guest
I heard from the Chief of Nephrology today, exactly 1 month after I announced I was stopping spiro and asked him to set up an AVS. My PCP, team nurses and the patient advocate had left urgent messages for him by last Friday. I got the first call back, 2 1/2 hours after I left a message for Dr. Geiling, the Chief of Medical Services! See, there is a way to get an answer! He said he was out sick last week and I didn't ask how he responded rudely to the nurse on Tue or the two weeks prior when he was supposed to be " working on it " ! See , I'm trying! All he told me was he put in a request and they would contact me to set it up nd tell me how to prepare! I reminded him I have been off spiro for 4 weeks and asked for the doctor and his experiences. He confirmed it is Dr. Lenz and repeated he is the best in the area. He said he does all the AVSs for the VA and Darmouth Hitchcock. Wasn't there someone here that had an AVS at Darmouth and a K Crash on the way home? Who decides you are ready to go home? - 65 yo super ob., fastidious male - 12mm X 13mm rt. a.adnoma with previous rt. flank pain. Treating with DASH. Stats w/o meds = BP 175/90 HR 59 BS 125.
