To me they don't. > You know, I had to laugh because, no, they don't. And no one has ever asked that of me, except me in my own head. The only time bergamot smells like the tea to me is when it's diluted WAY down. I used to make something called Happy Tummy Oil for my friends and loved ones when they were pregnant - for the stretch marks and all. Anyway, lots of gals have problems with smelling stuff and getting nauseated. I found out that a lot of them didn't have trouble with Earl Grey tea. So I used bergamot in the oil. And diluted way down for the tummy oil, it did smell like Earl Grey. I'll bet that also, if I were to add some decaffeinated tea tincture to it, it would smell more like the tea... (But I don't think I'd do that for the tummy oil - in case it might not be good for a pregnant mom.) Cheers! Andrine

It wouldn't be me though, although I love the > scent and flavor of citrus zest, the fruits are too darn sour for > me! -- do you mean that oranges are too sour for you? Or just the limes and lemons? Have you tried key limes? They can be really sweet. And oh boy -- Valencia oranges are just like candy. Now, I've never found a sweet lemon... >: * And yep -- I think of IFRA and have to laugh every time I squeeze a lime. (Be sure that before you grab for the citrus reamer, you don your HazMat suit and protective eye wear...) All the while I'm having a nice little sniffapalooza for one. Cheers! I know most people love them and wouldn't be caught dead without their orange juice with breakfast, but I cant handle the acid in them. Not only does it bother my mouth, but it gives me heartburn too. I put the lemon and lime juice in some foods, mango salsa being one, but of course I cant tolerate their sourness. My god, you should see my brother, the complete opposite. He eats lemons like oranges and sour candies by the tonful. I'm surpised he doesn't put citric acid on his food like sugar. And yep -- I think of IFRA and have to laugh every time I squeeze a lime. (Be sure that before you grab for the citrus reamer, you don your HazMat suit and protective eye wear...) All the while I'm having a nice little sniffapalooza for one.> Now that's an image. I'll have to pull out my hazmat gear everytime I make mango salsa! That was my first reaction to it. I also adore tangerine, orange is nice too. <I love love love my orange flower water absolutes... . love them .. love them (grin) I am fascinated by the nuances from the different distillations. Morocco/Tunisia just beautiful, Egypt different.. did I say love them LOL> I'm not sure what I thought of the sample that I got. It definitely had to diffuse a bit, a little funky at first. It was ok when it faded a bit.
