Guest guest
Love you, Sandy: This is sweet, because my daughter lives on a ranch, and in the summer they have more flies than you could ever imagine. We always buy them lots of fly swatters. Honey, we do need laughter between the tears. Sometimes, I feel as if I will never laugh again. When laughs, I always ask him how can you laugh when our lives are in such turmoil? He always tells me that it is good for me to see him laugh....he is right! Sending love to you........Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`` Laughter Is The Best Medicine How to Tell the Sex of a Fly A woman walked into the kitchen to find her husband stalking around with a fly swatter. "What are you doing?" She asked. He responded. "Hunting Flies" "Oh. ! Killing any?" She asked. "Yep, 3 males, 2 Females," he replied. Intrigued, she asked. "How can you tell them apart?" He responded, 3 were on a beer can, 2 were on the phone.

Guest guest
Tawny and group; I hope I can get the patches on today. My back hurt really bad yesterday. Lilly said she will put them on today for me. I am so glad to make you laugh Tawny. I hope I can do that for the rest of the group also. I get that from my dad, my dad thought he was a comedian. We always knew when he was trying to make us laugh growing up. Some of his jokes I didnt understand till I grew up like this one. I AM SO POOR I HAVE TO SIT ON A BAG OF FERTILIZER TO RAISE AND UNBRELLA. I was in my twenties before I figured that one out. He said it in his comedian voice so it was funny even if you didnt know what it was haaaaaaaaaa. So I love to emmitate his comedy. I heard others would take their injection at bedtime so they could get passed the side affects. An old friend told me about a rice sock to put on my neck after microwaving it. A lot cheaper than buying a hot pad. Now I have alwasy done that, forget what I was about to do. I find going back to the last room and than I would remember haaaaa. That is normal Tawny don't feel bad about not remembering some memories. I would bring things up to mom about the past and she would have no recollection about it. Now my kids bring something up that I have no memory about. Yes I live in Gaffney South Carolina. I may know what CTU is if I know the meaning of it. Off hand can't say I know. Yes I take plaguenil and sulfazaline also. You take care and I love your post your so caring Tawny. gentle hugs Clora > Clora, > > Sorry no one could put the patches on for you. Guest guest
Hi Clora, Hope your day is going well for you. Glad to hear you will get your patches on today. You are a inspiration to the group. Even when were in pain, we all need a little humor in our lives. I'm glad you got the comedian side of your dad. Well, I'm on the mtx pills again, and that is why I'm having so much problem. I woke up swallowing my throw-up again. It was awful!! I will have to talk to my rheumy about it, but that isn't until Nov. So, I'll say I had a bad night. I'm OK today though, so the worst is over, thank God. Well, CTU(Corporate Training Unlimited,) their out of Fayetteville NC. They have been in all the papers in the area. I guess, not remembering some things might be an advantage for us:) You have a great day, Tawny > > Tawny and group; > > I hope I can get the patches on today. My back hurt really bad > yesterday. Guest guest
Hi Tawny! I had the same problem with waking up/swallowing throw up. Guest guest
Hi... I am also taking MTX once a week, I dread MTX day, I hate it, I try to avoid it, time keeps marching on, but I have to take it and it does seem to be improving my condition. I usually take it in the evening so I can sleep (or try to sleep) through the initial effects. What I was wondering is how you feel the next day because I usually just write it off. Mostly it feels to me like a hang-over under water. Sometime I have a severe headache and I 've also noticed some slight confusion, like can't remember the date, or maybe what day it is, stuff like that. Then about 16 to 18 hours after taking it I start to feel better. You? Guest guest
Hi Stan, Yes, I have confusion too! I try to stay home after I take the mtx. I also have fatigue, and thats ALWAYS! I've been taking mtx in the evening, but the last two times, I've throwed up in my sleep. So, I wake up choking on my throw-up, I know sick:( I dread taking it too. But like you, if it helps me, I need to take the darn stuff. The mtx injection is so much better. When I gave myself the shot, I had no bad side effects, like nausea or vomiting. Just know your not alone, take care Tawny > > Hi... > > I am also taking MTX once a week, I dread MTX day, I hate it, I try to avoid it, time keeps marching on, but I have to take it and it does seem to be improving my condition. Guest guest
Tawny and group; Sorry I am late posting your post. Yours was the last when I had to guit due to back pain. My days are unbelievable great since I started the humira injections. I have pain from other conditions but the RA was the worse or the last straw on the camels back. I love to be funny and make people laugh. I have to be careful cause sometimes my hurmor is offensive to some people. I love to watch mansia on tv. He is from hunduras and look mexicon. He is a great comedian. He makes fun of all ethnic groups and all nationalites, he does it in a way that would even make the people he is talking about roll on the floor laughing. Out Of 10 kids me and my brother Jimbo has the comedian side of our dad. Sorry I never heard of CTU. Memory is a funny thing, some times or I just look at the funny side. I hope your feeling better and I look for your post everyday on my pc. I love to see you answered my post. I like to talk so it is the same in text lol. gentle hugs Clora > Hi Clora, > > Hope your day is going well for you. Glad to hear you will get your > patches on today. Guest guest
Morning Clora, I am not feeling well today. I'm having major flu like symptoms. I'm sorry your back was hurting yesterday, hope its better today. I can understand, I have so many different health problems. Sometimes, I blame everything on RA, when in reality, its probably something else. I try to catch myself from doing that. Its nice to be able to cause laughter, you have a gift. I my hubby likes all the comedians, but his favorite is,The Cable guy. Well, hope you have a great day, and less back pain. Glad the Humira is working well for you, that is good news. Bless day, Tawny > > Tawny and group; > > Sorry I am late posting your post. Yours was the last when I had to > guit due to back pain. Guest guest
Tawny and group; I am so sorry your not feeling well. I use to get the flue every year. Since I been taking flue shots I don't get them anymore. Last year I had phneumonia. I couldnt understand this since I had a shot for it. The doctor said you can still get it. I hope you can go to the doctors and get something for it. I am so sorry for your grandpa dieing that way. I know that must make you pretty sad, especially since it was an useless death. When I hear someone woke up throwing up it does worry me about them choking, please be very careful. Tawny you have so many health problems like I do. And I read where your daughter has some pretty bad health problems without medical insurance. I had to get on disability because I had no insurance. I am in really bad shape but I would rather work. Haaaaaaaaaa I like all the comedians too. Its hard to watch some for the horrable language they use. I am a christina and don't want to hear very bad language. I can handle the little slips ups but some of these comedian are so vulgar. Jeff Foxworthy cracks me and my husband up. I love Manseea. I love Foxworthy also cause he is a family type comedian. I believe we all have that gift of humor, we just need to let it out. One can see silly all around us. I read a lot of post this morning. I red flagged a lot to send messages later. It's bed time and I thought I would post some. Have you ever hit your head on the freezer door. I have I forgot to close it and raised my head up and pow. I looked around to see if anyone in the kitchen saw it. How silly of me to leave the freezer door open while checking the fridge haaaaaaaa. No I wasnt hurt, just my dignity. And than that night I felt a bump on my head and was asking everyone to feel it. I thought I must have cancer cause I had a bump and forgot it must of been from the freezer door haaaaaaaaaa. After all that I realized what I did. . I didnt tell everyone. I just let them forget it. I have a bunch of funny email if your interested let me know I will send it to your private email. Please get better we have enough wrong with us to get the flue too. gentle kind hugs Clora
Guest guest
Hey Clora! I'm sorry if you misunderstood my post. I don't have the flu, just the symptoms, which usually happens when you take mtx. I feel like total crap right now! I do take the flu shot too, speaking of, its almost time again. I also take the pneumonia shot too, very important. I also had pneumonia, that is a good question, I can't answer. Yes, I do have a lot of health problems. I get so tired of doctors, that is my excuse for not seeing them more often. Then if not having RA wasn't enough, there are other autoimmune disorders that follow. I use to be a busy person, always going, working overtime, and then boomed, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I just seem to watch my life go down hill, and I couldn't do much about it. You know what I mean. But Clora, were still here fighting this nasty disease, right? Oh yeah, I seem to hit my head all the time. My head isn't that big,lol but I seem to always clobber it. I am clumsy, and I will admit it. I don't walk so good either, so that doesn't help. I love humor, so you can send to my email. You keep us smiling, and that is GOOD! You are right, some do talk kind of dirty. I didn't know my grandpa, he died when I was little. But, yes it was a useless death. I'm sure after I talk to my rheumy tomorrow, I'll be off the mtx for awhile. Bummer too! I just started back on it, after a long while. You have a nice night, and will catch you tomorrow, Tawny > > Tawny and group; > > I am so sorry your not feeling well. I use to get the flue every > year.
