Guest guest
As you will note I have been preaching and teaching measurement in both arms at least at first visit for nearly 45 years. The AHA has recommended is since 1938 at least. What this study adds is that when you have enough rust to lower BP in one arm you likely have rust in other blood vessels that kill you: heart, brain, kidney, aorta. Need bigger numbers. What we do not know is after one has not found a difference how often should it be checked in both. Also most automatic devices are designed to be used on left arm which is more likely to be low. So many HTNs are likely being missed and the older the more that will be missed.CE Grim MDOn Mar 28, 2012, at 10:55 AM, Study Circle wrote: Varying Blood Pressure Readings In Each Arm Linked To Lower Survival Rates
