Guest guest
I had an adrenalectomy 9 months ago which completely resolved my bp and potassium problems. This past month I've had three mild allergic reactions to nuts. (small hives, itchy skin, blisters in mouth and a slight tightening of the throat.) All are relieved with benedryl. The symptoms come out about 3 hours after ingestion. Could the adrenalectomy be the root cause of an adult onset of nut allergies? Thanks for your insight. Nina Female, 45yrs, functional aldosteronoma, 4yrs ago dx of stage 1 breast cancer. Adrenalectomy in Aug 2011- Final Report: Right adrenal cortical adenoma (2X 1.5 X 1.5 cm) Morphological findings support diagnosis of adrenal cortical adenoma.
