Guest guest
I made it home this afternoon and can honestly say the worse part of the whole experience was the trip home. We stopped and saw the grandkids and I have had 20 minutes to investigate. It will probably take me years to figure it out so I'll share as I go along. Meet my new endocrologist. He is the leader of this protocol and was in my room yesterday! An excerpt from his bio: Dr. Stratakis identified the genes for Carney complex and Carney-Stratakis syndrome, and other genetic defects leading to adrenal and other tumors, and he and his laboratory have published extensively in the fields of pediatric inherited disorders and cancer genetics, and on other pediatric adrenal and pituitary disorders. He is the author of more than 300 publications and has served as a regular reviewer for more than 100 journals, including Nature Genetics, New England Journal of Medicine, and others. He was Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Endocrine Genetics (2000-2005) and currently serves in the Editorial Boards of several journals. As of January 1, 2010, Dr. Stratakis will be the Deputy Editor of the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, the leading journal of his field. See why I think he is probably not interested in determining if one has PA? (There may be a protocol out there but I don't know of it.) Guest guest
Ah he is after the ultimate reason for PA as in the genes maybe. Certainly credentialed it appears. Will search a few in a few days. May your pressure be low!CE Grim MS, MDSpecializing in DifficultHypertensionOn Apr 14, 2012, at 21:10, <jclark24p@...> wrote: I made it home this afternoon and can honestly say the worse part of the whole experience was the trip home.
