I got a cortisone shot in the knee and ended up in ER with an erratic heartbeat and very high blood pressure. I don't know if it was my aldosterone issue or Lyme disease. I have both. Those with Lyme are constantly reminded not to take any steroids.

From: hyperaldosteronism [mailto:hyperaldosteronism ] On Behalf Of maggiekat7If I get a cortisone shot in my knee, will it affect aldo, renin or any other levels for AVS or other labs?
