Thank you Mendy. :-) I am happy to hear from another member! It could be that the vaccines then weren't made the same as they are now. I don't know. I believe only a biologist could tell us. :-) I had the polio and small pox vaccine, oh and tetanus, which I wonder if that is considered a vaccine or not. Hmmmm.

[ ] vacines

Hi,I lurk and do a lot of reading but rarely say much. I appreciate all Iam learning. Years ago when my children were young I had issues with the vaccinesbecause my oldest was allergic to them. We finally broke the dosage upinto minimal doses given over several months time with benaydryl andaspirin to help her take them. When I complained to my mother about the side effects and why I wasconsidering stopping them all together, since obviously I had survivedthe measles, chicken pox and mumps, my mother reminded me I had alsobeen vaccinated for small pox, polio (the shot and then everyonegathering for the first sugar cubes until we all had the full dose),and she would have used any vaccines because they were better than thedisease. It was accepted about 1 in 100 (her numbers not mine) woulddie or be disabled because of "simple" childhood diseases. Most have heard of polio and the deaths it caused. Many adults thatrecovered are having issues with their muscles later in life. Are vaccines worth it? I have no answers but believe the alternativeshould be considered.Just my say - keep what you like and discard the restMendy
