Guest guest
Hi, I lurk and do a lot of reading but rarely say much. I appreciate all I am learning. Years ago when my children were young I had issues with the vaccines because my oldest was allergic to them. We finally broke the dosage up into minimal doses given over several months time with benaydryl and aspirin to help her take them. When I complained to my mother about the side effects and why I was considering stopping them all together, since obviously I had survived the measles, chicken pox and mumps, my mother reminded me I had also been vaccinated for small pox, polio (the shot and then everyone gathering for the first sugar cubes until we all had the full dose), and she would have used any vaccines because they were better than the disease. It was accepted about 1 in 100 (her numbers not mine) would die or be disabled because of " simple " childhood diseases. Most have heard of polio and the deaths it caused. Many adults that recovered are having issues with their muscles later in life. Are vaccines worth it? I have no answers but believe the alternative should be considered. Just my say - keep what you like and discard the rest Mendy
