To Avoid Plagiarism and Copyright

Problems

Feb. 22, 2008

I have been laxed about checking to see that the

copyright laws have been followed.  As we

become busy, we tend to forget these things.

So, from here on, we will endeavor to follow them.  If we forget, I hope someone will speak up

and let us know!  If it happens too

frequently by one person, they will have to be put on moderation, so that we

can check the material before it is shared with the group, and that includes

myself!  So, please point it out to me,

if I do it!

All articles that comes from sources other than

your own writing, needs to have the following information somewhere, preferably

at the top or the bottom of the article.

If you are forwarding from another group or site, make sure it has the author, name of the site, and the

URL, where it originally came from.  As

most of you know, most sites do not even consider plagiarism or the copyright

laws.  This is one way of getting a site

shut down.

Author (If it is your thoughts or

knowledge from experience, please sign it.)

Website URL

Also, the following would be helpful.

Date of article.

This will help if the information becomes outdated, when newer material

is discovered.

As a reminder, please keep the sharing related to

healing.  The following areas are

acceptable.  You all know how wide my

parameters are.  Lol!  I am pretty lenient.  And I am sure there are more subjects that I

haven’t thought to put here.  1. Spiritual.  2. Emotional.  3.

Mental. 4. Physical.  5. Animals.

(Safety, care, health, ECT.).  6. Humor (No Porn,

digs on anyone, including Nationalities or Religious).  You would be amazed how many subjects are

still left, I was.  Lol!  7.

Communities (National or International).  This could even be about laws about to be

passed or alerting others to what is going on.

8. Gardening.

Love, Joy
