There is so much good news I hardly know where to start. Let me

begin with some personal good news: General Bert and I have been

traveling extensively as you know for the last three years. We

decided to stop at Kicking Horse in British Columbia and spend some

time skiing (on our dime, not yours!) but of course, we still do

our work at night. As a matter of fact, that's what I am doing

right now. I wish I could show you where we are and what it looks

like at the top of the world but I just got a new computer (a Mac)

and I have no idea how to upload pictures yet. But this time on the

slopes is replenishing our batteries and I am very glad to have it

and so is General Bert!

Another bit of good news: we've finally got the amazing Songhai

video posted on the Natural Solutions YouTube Channel. You must see

this demonstration of Fr. Godfrey's completely sustainable, beyond

organic, natural solutions to integrated farming communities! Go

Good News on the Codex Front

One of the most successful battle fronts in Codex is the adamant

determination of much of the rest of the world NOT to allow either

any GM food (like Benin, for example) or unlabeld GM food (like

Norway, Switzerland, the EU, Japan, Russia and many other

countries. The US has been fighting to impose its anti-consumer

policies of forbidding any labeling of GM foods because consumers

reject it if they know they are eating genetically modified

"en Foods". So when the African nations laid the ground work

for inactivating the mine field the US was setting for them in the

wording of a document it was proposing, things were looking quite

hopeful, at least on that front.

After the meeting was over we went to Benin, a country with a

moratorium on GM foods. We brought advanced technology to see if it

would increase the crop yield, increase the nutrient density and

decrease the water use in that dry and hungry country as part of

the Natural Solutions Foundation's effort to reclaim healthy,

sustainable food production. This is part of our International

Decade of Nutrition. Of course, we were working with government

people as well as private ones to make this happen.

The head of the Beninese food safety and security program is a

remarkable veterinarian trained in human nutrition in the US. He

has a limited staff but a huge commitment to protecting his

country's food. He asked if we could provide information in French

giving him reasons that his position opposing GM foods makes

scientific sense (which Benin will need to follow the Codex Two

Step Process on GM issues) and I said, "Yes!"

If you already know about the dangers of eating (and growing) GM

foods, please pass these data on to others. In case you think that

GM foods are tested for safety by the FDA (they are not) or are not

part of your food supply (they are found in 60-80% if all US

prepared foods unless you eat an all organic diet), please take

some time to read these GM Files. The good news is that more and

more people at home and abroad are "getting it" about GM foods and

don't want to be part of the largest experiment in human history -

without benefit of informed consent or insurance.

The Beginning of the End for Compulsory Vaccines and

Drugging?

I just love it when the other side is so outrageous that any

thinking person finds their actions and rationalizations totally

unacceptable, don't you? If they were subtle, reasonable or clever,

we would have a harder battle. But the vaccine makers and their

supporters are so over-the-top that even the mills of science are

beginning to grind their grain into dust! Breaking news just in

tells us that the other side is so filled with their own sense of

invincible power that they literally know no bounds. Having

succeeded in making New Jersey the first state to create an ongoing

market for flu shots by requiring every child to be vaccinated

against a disease that poses little danger to kids, the marketeers

have their sights set on bigger markets: every child in the US.

Where to begin? So much is happening to strengthen our side that

it is hard to know where to start.

Although we are still facing the specter of increasing numbers

of compulsory vaccination scenarios on both the State and Federal

levels, we have great forward movement to counter them from

international science and the law. The US Congress, in the persons

of Congressmen Bart Stupak and Dingle are calling for the

resignation of the head of the FDA for his "lack of leadership".

Not only that, but 18 states are suing manufactures of the

so-called 'atypical' antipsychotic drugs-the most toxic

harm-producing psychotropics-for off-label marketing. To make

things even more interesting for our side, France has opened a

manslaughter investigation into the manufactuers of the Hepatitis B

Vaccine because they failed to disclose side effects and dangers!

suppressing negative information. Of course, that is not possible

under current policy and law in the US but if the profit goes out

of the vaccine industry through law suits, the industry will

fold.

(a legal action to compel the government to take action) to the

Federal Trade Commission to prevent vaccine-related false and

One of the clearest incidents of the malfeasance of the FDA is

the case of rotovirus vaccine. GlaxoKline's [GSK] rotavirus

vaccine, called Rotarix, is associated with an increased risk of

convulsions and pneumonia-related deaths in children taking it,

according to a review by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Rotovirus kills babies through viral diarrhea, at least in the

developing world. Why it is being recommended for babies in the US

where sanitation and virus free water are available is not quite

clear to me, but it is. In fact, 3 doses of the Rotovirus vaccine

are authorized (at 2, 4 and 6 months). FDA is in the process of

approving the vaccine despite its serious, and sometimes-lethal

impact on babies. I assume that the fact that GSK has no liability

for damage or deaths from Rotarix, and the frequent financial

interests of the reviewers on the FDA advisory boards in the

products they are reviewing may be significant factors here. Read

manufacturers by the FDA and Congress, it is worth noting

Kennedy's report on the secret meeting at the Simpsonwood

Conference Center at Norcross Georgia in which the real story on

government cover-ups of the relationship between autism and mercury

Here in the US we had some astonishingly good news from the

Court system about the link between vaccines and autism. The FDA

actually conceded that autism could result from vaccination in a

case involving a 4 year old child who collapsed into autism

following vaccination with 9 different vaccines at the same time.

The US Government agreed to settle the case by conceding that the

child's autism was brought about by vaccination although it states

that she had a biological problem which made her vulnerable to

events. Remember, though, that drugs, vaccines and now, because of

a recent Supreme Court decision, once approved by the FDA for any

purpose whatsoever, are immune from consumer liability suits.

As is typical, the much vaunted flu vaccine, so eagerly pressed

upon our children and our elderly, and often containing mercury, is

not only dangerous, but ineffective as well. Hard on the heels of

the New Jersey decision to make annual flu vaccinations mandatory

for children 6 months and older, the US Center for Disease Control

and Prevention (CDC) issued an acknowledgement that the very same

flu vaccine was effective substantially less than half the time

BECAUSE THE VIRUSES IT WAS MADE TO COMBAT WERE THE WRONG ONES! In

fact, that's the general rule and, buried in the article is the

admission that the whole thing is a dismal failure and next year

the World Health Organization is going to completely change its

method of making its vaccines up. You see, each year, the CDC and

the WHO literally guess what the viruses causing next year's flu

will be. And they usually get it wrong. That does not deter the US

and other nations from touting, urging and, in New Jersey, forcing

this dangerous, inaccurate and ineffective vaccine on children, the

What about dangers to other groups beside the young? What about

the elderly, for example? Vaccines are a significant hazard for

"With the elderly already having increased inflammatory cytokine

levels both systemically and in their brain, stimulating these

primed microglia so that a chronic overstimulation of the brain's

immune system is triggered, will not only increase their risk of

developing one of the neurodegenerative diseases, but will also

substantially increase their risk of developing major depression.

Even the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), whose members are

are undergoing a slight, but very interesting change of heart. Four

percent of their members do not vaccinate their own children!

I do not have this information in hand, but it would not

surprise me one bit if the vaccine-loving American Academy of

Pediatrics was supported to a large extent by the makers of

vaccines. Their institutional blindness is so massive that little

And think about this article and the others contained in this

Health Freedom eAlert the next time you ask a pediatrician for

advice about your child's health. He or she is probably a nice

person, but where is his/her information coming from? And is he/she

really examining data, or swallowing profit-driven propaganda hook,

line and sinker that could harm (or kill) your child?

Pediatricians know well, for example, that their own

organization changed its recommendation in 1997 from Oral Polio

Vaccine (a live virus vaccine) to the killed virus (injectable

form) because the live virus vaccine causes polio. In making this

change in their directions to their members, they were actually

admitting, in an official sort of way, that vaccines can cause the

disease they are supposedly protecting against.

Of course, even after all this time, not everyone gets the idea.

Guidance, allowing the FDA to declare nutrients "untested drugs" if

FDA forced two companies to stop making and marketing products for

diabetics made from cherry juice because the products turned cherry

juice into an untested drug by stating the health benefit derived

from using it. More action is clearly needed: half a million voices

were not enough to counter Big Pharma. Five million would be more

like it. That means you need to get your circle of influence

The Panama Project Moves Ahead!

Last week Ralph Fucetola and a Natural Solutions Foundation

Supporter made a quick trip to Panama to see the land and determine

how to move ahead. Here is Ralph's report, taken from his Vitamin

Lawyer Blog (vitaminlawyerhealthfreedom.blogspot.com/):

"Natural Solutions Foundation in Panama was set up to research,

educate and demonstrate natural solutions. Our shared vision is of

an intentional community that links home sites (on a wonderful

hillside with great views) with a natural wellness center/spa and

organic+ farm and school, all on a 300 hectare (700+ acre) site

that has never been farmed with chemicals. Currently, about ten

acres are planted with organic coffee.

Our Panamanian legal entity is very flexible, combining the best

aspects of a non-profit and a "private interest" entity that is

allowed to form its own commercial enterprises. In keeping with the

Songhai Principals, we see three "profit centers" for the project:

the Wellness Center, the Beyond Organic Zero Emissions Farm and

School and what I call the Infrastructure Company, which provides

transportation, communications, off-grid power, etc. to the center

and farm school as well as the home sites. The Foundation will hold

majority interest in the commercial entities, but there will be

private investment opportunities.

The area is in the far north, by the Costa Rica border, against

the 17,000 acre Amistad National Forest. Elevations vary from 3,000

to 5,000 feet above sea level. It is in the township of Santa Clara

(Sacred Light) and is reached by modern road about an hour from the

Vulcan eco-tourist area. The climate is year-round temperate (the

woods look much like the woods of the US Northeast: similar

evergreen, birch and other deciduous trees, deer and rabbits, but

with coffee, banyan trees, plantains and howler monkeys too). [Dr.

Rima's note: it is also quite similar to Marin County in

California, except for the howler monkeys, of course.] Gen.

Stubblebine and Dr. Laibow have explored the area in recent months

and I went there last week with a Natural Solutions supporter,

guided by , our Panamanian builder with experience in

the area.

I am most impressed by Panama as a country where people have

great hopes for the future... Panama City and the Canal area, where

half of the 3 million population resides, is a very modern,

thriving area with a huge building boom, very well developed

banking and commercial sectors (the Singapore of the New

World).

The Santa Clara area, to the far north, is pristine, flower

filled and well connected to civilized amenities (international

cuisine, locovore restaurants) [that is, serving food grown near

where he or she lives - Dr. Rima]. It is becoming an eco-tourist

center mostly because of the nearby Vulcan Baru, the highest point

in Central America, a magnificent extinct volcano. The area is

filled with ExPats from the US and Europe (20% of one town is

American).

Land values in Santa Clara are quite reasonable right now, but

will not stay that way for long, as Americans and Europeans looking

for more freedom than they can find at home, join the Panamanians

in appreciating this land. Two hours away, in Boquete, land is

bumping $100,000 per hectare (2.45 acres) - about 8 times our cost.

Land taxes are very low and there is a 20 year tax holiday for new

construction.

Because the land owners, who farm organically themselves,

appreciate our vision, they are giving us a highly favorable

financial arrangement and going far out of their way to work with

us in a positive and helpful way. One of their sons, who lives on

the land, would be ideal as a land manager for us. He is most

amenable to that idea.

We are currently making arrangements to have the land surveyed,

the soil and water tested and will be setting up preliminary

meetings with architects to determine the number of building lots

and areas. A generous donor has made that possible with a first

gift for Panama.

We are now open for donations which, while fully tax deductible

in the US, will allow the Natural Solutions Foundation to proceed

with the development of our better than organic, advanced farming

technology project complete with farm school for farmers from

around the world -- teaching how to farm and feed communities while

resisting the pressures of Big Agribiz [so that they can stay on

their land, feed themselves and feed their communities - Dr. Rima],

is a central commitment of the Panama Project.

So is providing a free, beautiful, healthful and sustainable

One More Bit of Insanity Which Is So Crazy It's Actually Good

For Our Side!

A totally mad assault on the health freedom of San Francisco Bay

area residents is underway. They will have no option except to flee

their homes and farms if they do not wish to be exposed to a highly

toxic, and poorly tested, spraying program every 30 days for the

next 5 years. The target is the Light Brown Apple Moth (LBAM), a

theoretical pest which has never threatened humans, crops,

ornamental shrubs, habitats or anything else. But, in their

determined to spray this insect to death, the California Department

of Agriculture appears to have totally lost its sanity. They will,

if they have their way, be spraying an untested pesticide (a

"plasticized pheromone") which has never been tested for safety on

people, and whose inert and active ingredients are dangerous, every

30 days for the next 5 years. The cost of the program? $74.5

million dollars.

Santa Clara and Monterey were sprayed twice and once

respectively with CheckMate ©. People experienced numerous

serious health consequences before a judge halted the spraying in

those towns pending further information. Undeterred, the CDA wants

to spray the entire San Francisco Bay area (parks, wetlands, farms,

houses, schools, all of it) over a 5 year period. Did I mention

that the impact on beneficial moths and butterflies is likely to be

disastrous?

Why is this good news? Because it is so insane that this assault

on health, freedom and the environment has become a rallying point

for large numbers of people from every walk of life. General Bert

and I will be in San Francisco on March 3, 2008 to attend a meeting

about this tremendous threat. The program, by the way, is only

possible because the CDA got an EMERGENCY exemption form the US EPA

to allow them to carry out this program without testing or impact
