Guest guest
http://www.healthynewage.com/9.html Dr. Leia Discusses Causes of Vertigo and Dizzyness Question for Dr. Leia: I have been experiencing major dizziness for about a half a year now. I had every possible test done and it is not organic. This dizziness is inconsistent. I have taken up meditation, yoga, running, healthy foods. It helped for a while, but now it came back. I would appreciate any information you can give me on the causes of vertigo and dizzyness. Dr. Leia's Answer: Dizziness or vertigo can be caused by a myriad of different things. Sometimes a second or third opinion would be wise to obtain. Assuming that you have been checked for an inner ear infection ( a common simple problem which is often missed by many doctors), ringing in the ears, Meniere's syndrome, inner ear degeneration in the elderly, low blood pressure, postural blood pressure, anemia, stress, neck and shoulder tension, antibiotics and other chemical medications, heavy metal toxicities, adrenal problems, circulatory problems, or brain/blood vessel dyscrasias, hormonal fluxuations, (just to name a few), then you might want to consider visiting an Acupuncturist. Acupuncture can work when all else seemingly fails. An Acupuncturist can address symptoms and causes of Vertigo or dizzyness and can diagnose the problem from the standpoint of Eastern medicine. Another alternative approach would be to find a homeopathic remedy which could help with your dizziness. Cocculus, conium, nux vomicum, and argentum nitricum are a few of the homeopathic remedies which could be useful for dizziness or vertigo. Because your symptom is inconsistent, and you have received a modicum of help from your lifestyle changes, you might want to look at the amount of stress which have in your life, and how it affects you, and your reaction to this stress. Sometimes stress can be insidious and creep up on us without warning or our knowledge of what is happening. Being able to relax and work through the stressful periods of our lives is one of the most important things we can do for our feeling of well being and health. Good luck in your search for optimal health. Dr. Leia Melead Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Search.
