How to access Oprah's media class.

You should have already down loaded from Oprah.com the media player that is being used. She should have sent you an email with that info.

1. You should receive or have received an email from "Your Special Link to Oprah's Live Web Event". It should look like the email below.

2. Click on the enter button on the email. It will take you to Oprah.com (A New Earth Web Event).

3. On the right side of the page is click here for the class, or something to that effect. Do it.

4. If it doesn't work (mine didn't), right below in smaller letters is a paragraph that says something to the effect of "if you are not connected, click here". Now this did work for me, but it took almost a minute. So be patient.

My message from Oprah below, told me to enter at 8:45, which I did. They have the number of people getting on line, at a certain time to enable all to get on line. I just don't think, they realized how many thousands, from all over the world, would be doing this. I also, think that people who had not even signed up for the class, tried to access the class.

Some tips:

When you access the Oprah.com screen, immediately close any other programs you may have been using, like Outlook Express, games, ect. If you open any programs while viewing Oprah.com media screen, they will interfere with the class.

I will write up how to access the class from Oprah's regular site, tomorrow.

Important! Your Internet Connection

The Move media player requires a certain internet speed for an optimal experience. If you are able to view video on the web without any problems you should be able to watch the online class. If you would like to test your internet connection speed to verify that you meet the minimum requirements please refer to our webcast support page. If you find that you do not have the minimum speed required, we will be offering an adapted experience within a couple of days after each live Monday night class.

Be sure to print your Chapter 1 Workbook and have it next to you during class.

Move Media Player Installation Required

If you haven't had a chance to download the Move media player, please do so by 11/10c on Sunday, March 2. As a reminder, in order to view the live Web event, you will need to install this player on your computer. The installation process will only take a few minutes to complete. Begin install.
