I've had to make my own capsules many times and it's easy to do but delicate work and time consuming so my daughter usually helps me. I've been thinking of making some cinnamon capsules so I might get around to doing those and the wheatgrass powder. The problem with both of those is that I'd probably need a lot of capsules to get enough into me every day. Thanks Helen.......LD
Guest guest
I agree not to take an icecube - according to chinese medicine this is not a healthy thing to do. What I would do and what I recommend to clients is this: Take either the organic wheatgrass tablets or capsules. It's not fresh grown wheatgrass, but it's concentrated, easy and without the struggle so why not? When I studied psychoneuroimmunology I learned that it is very important that what we take for healing should be held with good feelings for us to experience true healing. So, if you can swallow the wheatgrass tabs and think good thoughts you will really reap the fruits of the grass. It's easy and you don't have to struggle thru the flavor of wheatgrass if it's that distasteful. When I was really sick with CFIDS I remember having to take a tablespoon of wheat germ oil every day. Talk about gagging. That was awwwwweefulllllll! EEK! I appreciate that Helen (ice cube suggestion) and everyone else is trying everything we can to help others and I think it is a wonderful thing that we're putting our heads together to fascillitate healing. Guest guest
Hi LD In a day or two, I will show you how you can make "pills" without capsules. I don't know if you will be able to do that but you can take a look at the instructions. I realise that taking ice or extreme cold internally may not be that great, perhaps but if it is the only way that someone might take their wheatgrass juice, I'd say to go for it that way. I make a week's worth of Holy Tea so I keep it in the fridge in a concentrated form and I was drinking it cold. I have a practitioner who is purchasing the Holy Tea from me and he says it is better to drink it warm or hot for the most effectiveness. So I realize, cold may not be good but it is better than not taking the wheatgrass at all. At any rate, I was just throwing out ideas to illicit other ideas. I know eating frozen raw liver works because I see the liver beginning to thaw in my hand before I swallow it. By the way, the reason I did it this way is because a natural doctor said that you really do not have to chew meat as the stomach acids do a better job of disintegrating it than your teeth ever will. Just thought you might find that interesting. " Absolutely andra. Due to my own understanding of life, I prefer to use that attitude in all things. A little while ago I mixed wheatgrass and cinnamon powders together in the chicken soup and got it down through a straw but it has really just doubled the nausea. <yuk> I'll definitely be looking for the tablets. Thanks for all suggestions. It IS wonderful to be part of such a helpful group........LD

Guest guest
Thank you, andra! I do appreciate your acknowledgement. Ironically, it comes at a time when I am thinking of drawing back from any groups as I am getting behind in my businesses. If I don't take care of them, they will disappear. I will make a few more posts and then I will have to step back for a while.
