Guest guest
I cannot raise my dose of iodine past 1 tablet. At least it feels like that could be causing some of my exacerbation. Iodine also kills pathogens so be careful you don't take too many pathogen killing agents at once or watch for exacerbation and reduce if needed. I've heard on the iodine list that the topical therapy isn't sufficient. The curezone iodine forum might be useful to you. I've joined but haven't gotten around to asking questions yet. Best wishes....LD At 02:51 PM 12/05/2008, you wrote: Hi, I have read some of the recent discussion about iodine. I got some tincture of iodine and did the patch smeared on my arm test. It disappeared within two to 3 hours. If I take iodine, will this bring my thyroid gland back from the dead? I have been hypothyroid and taking Armour Thyroid since I was 11 years old, which was over 40 years ago. Good website about ticked off hypothyroid patients (there are millions of 'em) and their fights with their doctors: www.stopthethyroidmadness.com Does anyone else have any experience with this iodine intake decreasing their thyroid meds or giving them more energy?
