Guest guest
I'm wondering if anyone else suffers from huge bloated stomach. I use to have a super flat small stomach and very narrow waist. I could eat a huge meal and my stomach didn't change. Now it's always big and completely ridiculous after a small meal. I got sick 2.5 years ago and have had a huge tummy since. Its very uncomfortable. An extreme example would be the poor kids in Etheopia that are starving and skinny as can be, yet have huge tummies. I forget the name of their condition. Mine isn't as extreme of course, but I am 5'4, 105ilbs, and I look like I am months pregnant, I really do. I feel its even worse this past week. Can the MMS be doing this? I take the probiotics middle of the day 2 hours post antibiotics and MMS at night. Any help appreciated, thank you. Guest guest
i don't know about the bloat... haven't had the problem myself. i have noticed from reading there's lots of possible causes. my housemate did though, for some years around menapause i think. she used to blow up like a balloon, then shrink back down, over & over. seems to have passed through that. now she's just fat and her belly stays kind of large... and that's mostly diet and lack of exercise. she was thin and flat all her life until fibroid surgery, then it all started changing a lot. if she would've let greedscum do the hysterectomy they wanted (to take care of post-surgery complications that turned out to be chlamydia) she'd be in lots worse shape today. she & i both went through a few years where we had to pee with ridiculous frequency... i still have to most every time i hear water run... makes it kind of hard when you're a paperhanger that rinses out sponges a zillion times a day. sometimes i go and the sound of the toilet flushing makes me have to go again... too weird. it looks like you're timing your MMS and stuff pretty well. it could be the MMS + antibiotics? i don't think i'd do both at all, even though JH seems to think it's ok. -----Original Message-----From: [mailto: ]On Behalf Of VickiSent: Friday, October 31, 2008 1:03 AM Subject: RE: [ ] Watermelon Stomach I'm wondering if anyone else suffers from huge bloated stomach. Guest guest
God forbid that I should be an alarmist, and I really hope Vicki's bloat is harmless. But I know of two conditions that cause the Big Belly, from personal experience. The first one is Chemical Depression (which I have) and I've seen many women with the same great big bay window, caused by the same ailment. The second is Ovarian Cancer, and my doctor is sending me for ultrasound scans to see if that accounts for the ongoing bloat, increasing and decreasing weekly. I've successfully used MMS to treat my osteo arthritis - an amazing result! Plus, an abscess on a tooth cleared up overnight, to my sincere gratitude. My hardened, painful, toenails responded beautifully to MMS. So the benefits made me very happy, but my tummy stayed bloated and it won't go down. A few comments from Gaele, whose shape was exactly like Vicki's. Guest guest
THis has been happening to me also in the past couple years. For me it was/is a combination of yeast/fungal overgrowth and parasites. If you have a lot of gas you probably have parasites. You should try a parasite cleanse. Also, when I get a lot of fungal die-off my stomach gets flatter. Neems helps a lot with the yeast. It helps bring it out of hiding and kills it. MMS can kill the good bacteria, so supplementing with a lot of good probiotics is essential. Some really good probiotics are Healthy Trinity, PB8, replenniss (sp?), and HLC high potency powder. Some of these are very expensive but worth every penny. Before you freak out and think you have cancer I would explore these other possibilities first as they are much more common. -- Re: [ ] Watermelon Stomach God forbid that I should be an alarmist, and I really hope Vicki's bloat is harmless. Guest guest
As a practitioner, I would think that something from your sickness 2.5 yrs ago created an imbalance in your digestive system. People who look trim from behind, and have a gut from the front, present with the body type predisposed to Type 2 Diabetes...whatever happened to you resulted in a potential to blood sugar imbalances. It probably impacted your gut flora, so you could consider doing a flooding technique to reseed the intestines. CS on an empty stomach may help balance bad to good flora. Food allergies are much suspect as well...so essentially, potential candida, blood sugar imbalances, and food allergies (possibly wheat/gluten/dairy combo) and you end up with your body pic. So far as MMS goes, I’m a lurker/learner, and therefore can’t comment. It does seem that the MMS would be helpful from the standpoint of Candida, but as a practitioner, I’m not fond of single-focused strategies. I believe in adding a build/support strategy into your protocol along with the kill aspect. Works faster and weakens the herx reaction (nausea). Mho, Esther N. Guest guest
Another possibility if gassy is slow bowel. The food starts to rot and creates gas. This produces an environment/terrain that encourages parasites to proliferate, resulting in a parasite problem, but may not be the causative factor. Slow/lazy bowel may be due to lack of magnesium OR lack of muscle tone (the bowel IS a muscle after all). Toning the bowel may require the use of a ‘pusher’ herb...something that causes the bowel to contract. An iridologist will be able to tell you which your issue probably is...low tone or caught in a tight spasm, slowing movement down. If you want to send me a very close-up of your eye pics I may be able to help with that. Working with replenishing bowel flora at an aggressive rate (flooding technique) may result in vaginal/jock itch due to bacteria escaping...you can then re-infect yourself sleeping on your own sheets!! Putting a towel underneath you when you sleep to throw in the wash in the a.m. can prevent constant changing and washing of sheets. Esther N. Guest guest
I do my best to not be depressed and so I dont know why the huge tummy, it was big even before the antibiotcs and I always take probiotics too. I finished the antibiotics and weening off Plaquenil so now it's jsut about the MMS. I dont know that I have yeast troubles either. I need to get tested I guess. But right before i got sick 2.5 years ago had a female yeast infection which cleared up, took a while and was resistant to various things initially. Never before that had yeast infection, my freinds always did, but none were ever ill like i am today. I havent had anything like it since. So I am inclined to believe that yeast isnt my problem despite taking antibiotics (with probitocs 2 hours later.) I really hope it does something becasue it's so miserable living this way. I hear people say MMS helped for this and that, their cold didnt last as long and such...but I dont see how that can be compared to full blown chronic auto immune illness. A cold goes awya on its own anyway and how does one know that it went away quicker due to MMS anyway. Seeing gastrologist this Tuesday. Although I bet its worthless appt just like the other gastros I've seen. Guest guest
Yeast cures easily now... You get the enzyme that digests cellulose, and presto, gone. Standard yeast cannot survive without a cell-wall, but there-are mycoplasm yeasts that can-and-will survive without a specific cell-wall. If-you keep taking the enzyme, eventually you'll get them-all. They morph back-and-forth.
Guest guest
But i dont have reason to believe I have yeast.... Forgot to mention I tried gluten free diet 3 months and no results, as far as my stomach or any of my terrible symptoms. I have been tested for it too and didn't test positive but like I said, I tried the diet and that should have worked if it was the problem I would think.... Its like most of my body weight is in my stomach. It's so disgusting to me that I am not digesting the food and it sits there, that's so gross. Digestive enzymes are worthless too. The gut doc will likely want to do colonoscopy that's just a waste of $ for me so if it's brought up I will not do waste the time, money and energy. Guest guest
Bloat is accumulated inflammation, and the body's responses to "isolate" infected tissues.. . Old-timers called-it "dropsy", notating systemic infection/inflammation. (It was also terminal in some cases.) Some will bloat from sugar, and there've even-been cases of alcohol production from fermentation in the gut... Just-ponder getting a DUI from your Halloween candy! Guest guest
Yes, I concur. Well stated . Lack-of HCL production will-indeed increase gut transit-time and associated bloating.
Guest guest
Hi Vicki, I've been reading all the responses to your bloat question. Really good ones! Each scenario can be likely, the question is, which one is yours'? I have had just the opposite experience. After using MMS, my 'belly blubber' has been decreasing. This was not bloat --- I know that feeling and it is uncomfortable. In my case, the bloat went away, in 3 days after a visit with a Chinese doctor and an energy medicine technique he used to get rid of parasites. I had mentioned that a QXCI practitioner said I had parasites, she did what she could with them but did not get rid of all of them. He did (I run a holistically oriented group and visit with many of our practitioners so I can tell our membership about them. It works well for all of us.) re: Gastroenterologists --- my experience: When Dad was alive and living in Florida, I noticed he had a bad smell about him. I knew it was not emanating from the mouth. I made an appointment with him for the gastroenterologist and went with him. The doc said he was fine and all his tests came back fine. I said " doctor, my dad has a fecal odor about him. I don't think its fine. What could it be? " Doctor: " It's probably the food he eats. " (I could not believe that lamebrained response!!!!) Me: " Doctor, I eat the same food and I don't smell like shit! " Obviously, we left soon after. My dad was a doctor believer. Wonder what Medicare paid him for that useless advice. This was one of those industrial complexes that looks like a Borg cube where they shuffle you off from tired doctor to tired doctor so they can make a lot of money. 2 weeks later my dad flew to visit with my sister. She took him to her GP who was also a naturopath. The doctor did something which is very undoctorlike in today's system. He actually touched my father! Gasp! He put his hand over my dad's abdomen, and a half minute later said: " You have an impacted bowel. A short regimen of herbs should clear that up. " Sure enough, after a couple of weeks dad was doing better and the smell was gone. I hope your experience is better. It seems like they usually rely on tests which examine, somewhat, bodily fluids rather than any knowledge about health. My suggestion is that you see, if you can, a naturopath. Sounds like there is an overabundance of --- something you don't need --- with not enough of the right stuff to balance it out. (they can also find out about yeast, which we might not think we have but can be there.) When it comes to anything digestive, cardiovascular, that needs rebalancing, I like Chinese doctors. As far as your feeling that the digestive enzymes are not working, it could be that they are the wrong kind, or that there is something blocking their action. I am reminded of the biofilm advice I first received when I first joined this list. Guest guest
Hi Marilyn, The thing about my stomach is it fluctuates from a couple month pregnant look to mid term or whatever its called. I have never been preg. Its like most my body weight is in my tummy. While I have some constipation, its not super extreme, I wonder if there is more than one issue going on. If its inflammation too, I cant get rid of that until the underlying auto iummune illness is corrected right? Every disease causes inflammation, and starts off this way too. And so far nothing has worked, thus now tyring the MMS. I know I have no odor because my mom whom I live with would tell me without hesitation. She's not afraid of hurt feelings believe me. I take insoluble fiber, the type that doenst constipate and 1000 magnesium daily, drink a lot of water and try to exersize a bit, but its not enough. I took Chinese herbs for my auto immune illness and it spiked my liver levels through the roof. It was bad, much worse than what the antibiotics did. So I do worry about taking Chinese herbs. Although thre fact they cured your dad is pretty impressive. I know there are colon cleanses and I have done them. They can get me back to 70% normal but I cant use them regularly, they contain stimulants. They only work while taking them. And stimulants over time screw up the electrolyte balance in your system causing your already sluggish digestion to stop working all together. I read about this natural product that doenst contain stimulants. Apparently it works. BUt again, you get off it and your own system doesnt work. It makes you go to the bathroom A LOT. But is it getting rid of food too early too? food that isn't digested yet and therefore you don't benefit from the nutrients of the food? As far as naturopaths for my illnesses, I saw over a dozen. Perhaps one is good and honest and helpful. But I wont know who is such person because they all wanted a ton of money from me and while some ND's may very well be good, there is too much room for voodoo with ND's and some do in fact employ it. Ugh. Traditional medicine sucks too though because they offer you no cure and thus you do the voodoo until all finances and hope is gone. Whereas before, only your hope was gone. I'd love to find an ND that was the exception, but I haven't and have no energy and money anymore. I dont know who to trust anyway. Can MMS cause the liver enzymes to increase drastically too? Or is it easy on the liver, kidneys etc... ?--- On Sat, 11/1/08, Marilyn Gang <mgang@...> wrote: From: Marilyn Gang <mgang@...>Subject: Re: [ ] Watermelon Stomach Date: Saturday, November 1, 2008, 6:34 AM Hi Vicki,I've been reading all the responses to your bloat question. Really goodones! Each scenario can be likely, the question is, which one is yours'?I have had just the opposite experience. After using MMS, my 'bellyblubber' has been decreasing. This was not bloat --- I know that feelingand it is uncomfortable. In my case, the bloat went away, in 3 days aftera visit with a Chinese doctor and an energy medicine technique he used toget rid of parasites. I had mentioned that a QXCI practitioner said I hadparasites, she did what she could with them but did not get rid of all ofthem. He did (I run a holistically oriented group and visit with many ofour practitioners so I can tell our membership about them. It works wellfor all of us.)re: Gastroenterologists --- my experience:When Dad was alive and living in Florida, I noticed he had a bad smellabout him. I knew it was not emanating from the mouth. I made anappointment with him for the gastroenterologist and went with him. The docsaid he was fine and all his tests came back fine. I said "doctor, my dadhas a fecal odor about him. I don't think its fine. What could it be?"Doctor: "It's probably the food he eats."(I could not believe that lamebrained response!!!! )Me: "Doctor, I eat the same food and I don't smell like shit!"Obviously, we left soon after. My dad was a doctor believer.Wonder what Medicare paid him for that useless advice. This was one ofthose industrial complexes that looks like a Borg cube where they shuffleyou off from tired doctor to tired doctor so they can make a lot of money.2 weeks later my dad flew to visit with my sister. She took him to herGP who was also a naturopath. The doctor did something which is veryundoctorlike in today's system. He actually touched my father! Gasp! Heput his hand over my dad's abdomen, and a half minute later said: "You havean impacted bowel. A short regimen of herbs should clear that up."Sure enough, after a couple of weeks dad was doing better and the smellwas gone.I hope your experience is better. It seems like they usually rely on tests which examine, somewhat, bodilyfluids rather than any knowledge about health. My suggestion is that you see, if you can, a naturopath. Sounds likethere is an overabundance of --- something you don't need --- with notenough of the right stuff to balance it out. (they can also find out aboutyeast, which we might not think we have but can be there.)When it comes to anything digestive, cardiovascular, that needsrebalancing, I like Chinese doctors. As far as your feeling that the digestive enzymes are not working, itcould be that they are the wrong kind, or that there is something blockingtheir action. Guest guest
Vicki, I have a puffed out gut and haven't been able to figure it out either. I've just read all these good suggestions and they all seem reasonable, but they don't have that "ring of truth" for my case. And many of these suggestions I've already used. So my thought is, that even though I do a lot of detox techniques my bug killing still goes at a faster pace than my detoxing. But I'd really like to figure this out too. Naomi Re: [ ] Watermelon Stomach Date: Friday, October 31, 2008, 2:01 PM Yeast cures easily now...

Sorry, but taking some probiotics 2 hours after taking anti-biotics really doesn't accomplish much... Anti-biotics should only be taken in life and death situations. They are *WAY* over prescribed today... And there are much better things to take anyway - CS & GSE (grapefruit seed extract) being to off the top of my head... I would do Alkalising, Hydrating, skin brushing and a monodiet for a start. These are gentle enough to get your body strength up to then go on to full health. These methods are not instant gratification, they take a while of consistent application to start making a difference. There are many ways of alkalising, the simplest is to take 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of bicarb twice a day. This is household quality bicarbonate of soda otherwise known as sodium bicarbonate. I usually add some warm water to the powder, stir that to dissolve, glug it and then chase with water to take away the nasty taste. Bicarb will probably cause burping and maybe farting. You have my full permission to let 'er rip. A better alkalising formula is Dr Shallenbergers which is 1 part by weight sodium citrate, 2 parts potasium bicarbonate and 7 parts sodium bicarbonate. And I think Alka Seltzer Gold is also OK, just ensure that it contains no aluminium. Drink about 2 litres of water per day. Tea, coffee, alcohol, juice, etc all steal water from the body so they don't count and in fact you should take an extra equal amount of water for these. You may add freshly squeezed lemon juice and /or some honey to your water. Skin brushing is the act of rubbing thoroughly all of your skin with a dry brush or towelling or with a damp towel dabbed onto fine salt and bicarb. Rub from the extremities towards your heart and be gentle over the tender bits like between toes, behind knees, crotch, armpits, neck etc. This should take about three to five minutes for the whole body and you could do it several times per day if you like. Follow with a bath or shower. Be careful, the bicarb is slippery underfoot when wet. Have fun. A monodiet is any single food taken for about 12 days. It could a fruit like watermelon or grapes, or something cooked like brown rice or pumpkin , which are light and easily digested. You could try a plain water diet but I find that is too hectic and I get massive headaches long lasting. Avoid concentrated food like white rice , bread, potatoes. try it for a day and then go back to your normal diet, then try for two days etc stay with the time if you are suffering or doubling the time if you are coping. This give your body a chance to develop a set of gut flora to handle your chosen monodiet. Once that is acheived you can add other food gradually if you want to or chose another, different type of monodiet food.

Guest guest
I forgot to mention that you might want to get Bob's Red Mill baking soda (sodiumbicarbonate). People have said on thisforum that it tastes better than Arm & Hammer. Someone said that Arm & Hammer baking soda may have aluminumin it. I called the company from Canadaand sent an email to the US Arm & Hammer and they both very confidentlysaid that their baking soda does not havealuminum in it. So either kind is good.I have not found Bob's Red Mill baking sodahere but one company said they would beordering it in for me. Guest guest
I think the " Bob's Red Mill " baking soda, is less abrasive...it seems a bit finer and not quite as harsh. Also, I've read that one should not take it closer than 1/2 to 1 hr. before or after meals. It will neutralize the stomach acids and interfere with digestion. > > I forgot to mention that you might want to > get Bob's Red Mill baking soda (sodium > bicarbonate). The baking soda shouldbe taken on an empty stomach and noeating for at least 30 minutes but I thinkthe minimum time should be 45 minutesto an hour. Guest guest
From someone who has tried both, the Bob's tastes much better. Someone else mentioned in an earlier post that there still could be aluminum in the A & H even though they claim it doesn't have it. I trust the Bob's brand more. -- RE: [miracle_mineral_ supplement] Watermelon Stomach On 30 Oct 2008 at 22:02, Vicki wrote about :Subject : RE: [miracle_mineral_ supplement] Wa> I'm wondering if anyone else suffers from huge bloated stomach.> I use to have a super flat small stomach and very narrow waist. And I think Alka Seltzer Gold is also OK, just ensure that it contains no aluminium.Drink about 2 litres of water per day. Tea, coffee, alcohol, juice, etc all steal water from the body so they don't count and in fact you should take an extra equal amount of water for these. You may add freshly squeezed lemon juice and /or some honey to your water.Skin brushing is the act of rubbing thoroughly all of your skin with a dry brush or towelling or with a damp towel dabbed onto fine salt and bicarb. Have fun.A monodiet is any single food taken for about 12 days.
