Guest guest
Good O, Simon. I didn't want to be quite so blunt. With prescription drugs, one needs to bevery careful and talk to your doctor andhope he knows something about them.Often all he has learned about them is from a pharmaceutical salesman who hashas no medical degree or knowledge.Think long and hard before using them. Here's where it would be beneficial to dosome Googling. On the other hand, you needn't be near socareful with herbal remedies. People havebeen taking them on the advice from their health stores and their friendly MLM dealers for years and nobody has died. On the contrary, people get rid of disease, live longerand live better lives. If something doesn't work no harm is done.Always remember that 160,000 people in theUS die each year from pharmaceutical drugs. Some argue that this figure is much higher.I doubt you can find l person who died of avitamin or herbal overdose. Yes, it is possibleto overdose on these but highly unlikely andwhen you stop the overdosing, you are fine. Iwould say you can be over-cautious when itcomes to supplements. With natural products, you can do Googlesbut you don't have to.You can learn a lot from asking your healthstore and/or Multi Level marketer questions. On the other hand, when you go to a drugstore, you cannot get the same kind of helpthat you do from natural health people. Try,as much as possible, to support your naturalhealth people rather than the drug stores asthey brought us the good stuff in the first place.Have a great and happy day!Helen From: Simon <tanstaafl@...> Sent: Tuesday, November 4, 2008 4:12:05 AMSubject: Re: [ ] Colloidal Silver On 11/4/2008, Vicki (genuinelysweet2002) wrote: > I always make it clear with my patients that no matter if it's > "natural medicine" or "pharmaceutical medicine", they should not self > medicate. It is not a good idea. Give me a break. Such holier-than- thou attitudes are what got people into trouble/sick in the first place (relying on someone else's judgement rather than their own)... People need to do the exact OPPOSITE of what you said above... They need to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for their own lives, INCLUDING their health, if they want to get well... of course, they also need a willingness to listen to others and to try new things, but most importantly, the common sense to do so in a slow and deliberate manner. In other words, don't just dive in and try anything and everything that you read about on the net the first time you read about it. Be discerning. Join discussion groups about a protocol and learn about it BEFORE you try it. And never forget - Google is the most powerful tool ever invented that can be used for healing (and many other things). Learn how to use it. The key to using google successfully is learning how to think of and use the right keywords. Learn how to use the 'operators' that you can use and WHEN to use them: http://www.googlegu ide.com/category /query-input/ The GoogleGuide is one of the first things I point people to who are new to the internet (like Grandma)... Why are you boiling the water? and 2. What are you boiling it in? You should NEVER make CS in metal pots, not even stainless steel. Use ONLY glass. What you may think is silver could be metal from the container - if you're using a metal container, as I suspect. Anyway, I have never heard of making CS with boiling water, and it is absolutely not necessary and just makes the process much more complicated. This just looks like pure marketing hogwash, so they can charge you $10 for 4oz of liquid. They go on and on about how plain homemade CS is 'highly toxic' and 'ineffective', which totally ignores the FACTS that it is both highly effective *and* extremely safe. Bottom line - the site is pure HOGWASH.

Guest guest
There is an old saying "Ignorance is bliss" . If you spent any time reading the information on that site, it is the original pre 1938 formula that can only be produced in a laboratory environment. Silver atoms are different from silver ions. I take 5,000ppm daily for systemic candidiasis as this amount is needed in order for it get in the bloodstream and do its job. I suppose the Doctors quoted on that site that use it on hundreds of patients are wrong. Guest guest
Does your enthusiasm for that website and the silver product it sells have anything to do with the fact that it's YOUR website? http://i35.tinypic.com/qsl4xt.jpg > > Learn about the real colloidal silver which is mild silver protein at > > www.islandorganicproducts.com > > Silver 'protein' is what turns you blue. > > This just looks like pure marketing hogwash, so they can charge you $10 > for 4oz of liquid. > > They go on and on about how plain homemade CS is 'highly toxic' and > 'ineffective', which totally ignores the FACTS that it is both highly > effective *and* extremely safe. > > Bottom line - the site is pure HOGWASH. >
