infections with RA

Hello Everyone.

I recently went to my doc because of an increase in my rheummy

symptoms, and he discovered that both of my ears were infected.

I was told that anytime the immune system kicks in to fight infection

that I will have an increase of my symptoms, or a flare. Has anyone

else experienced this type of agonizing situation?

It was disapointing to me, as I had just started having many good

days after being on plaquenil for several months. I am also on

prednisone, voltaren, neurontin, and many other rx's and suppliments.

sometimes I feel like a walking pill box!(HEHEHE). I hope by the time

the infections clear up that I will have more good days again!

Another question- I suffer from extreme fatigue, I know that

fatigue is part of the disease, but even on good days I get tired so

easily, does this happen to anyone else?

By the way - I was diagnosed sero-neg this summer ( after about 5

years of periodic flares). This summer my compliments and sed rate

were off and I got started on meds.

Anyway, thanks for listening, and any suggestions or experiences

will be greatly appreciated
