Guest guest
Someone with a knowledge of what the chemicals MMS breaks down into needs to check this , but MMS is not chlorine , it is chlorine dioxide. Smells like chlorine but not chlorine.Sodium Chloride is salt it has chlorine in it . Are you also allergic to salt? More to the point, Have you been having allergic reactions since starting MMS? How do you feel when you take the MMS? Are your symptoms of whatever illness better or do you feel worse? Are you using lemon to activate your MMS? If so use vinegar . Guest guest
Hi Jane, I have a suggestion. You can look for a NAET(stands for Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Technique) practitioner in your area and get treated for allergy to lemon and orange.. along with chlorine, chlorine dioxide, sodium chlorite, etc. Before you do that, you could also use citric acid instead of lemon, although you could be sensitive to that also. You might want to get treated to citric acid also in case you might want to use that instead of lemon at some time. I have numerous allergies and chemical sensitivities and was hoping to get better from taking MMS, yet I have not. Perhaps I have not taken enough of it or for a long enough period of time. It is quite discouraging. Best of luck to you. Guest guest
hi there, my opinion is that i think if you haven't had any adverse reactions so far, you should be fine. i've listened to several practioners views on allergy testing and why it's not an accurate test. one says, if you have a leaky gut, you will test positive for just about everything on any given day. another says, the test is faulty because you are putting things in contact with the blood that don't normally have direct contact with the blood. another says it's just not reliable. what usually is suggested is usually suggested is to heal the gut, then the allergies will subside. many people i know have been helped by this diet: http://gapsdiet.com/. also, gelatin eaten with meals (like in tea or a cup of gelatinous broth) can help with allergic reactions to food: " Further support of gelatin came in 1937 when Francis Pottenger noted, 'Even foods to which individuals may be definitely sensitive, as proven by the leucopenic index and elimination diets, frequently may be tolerated with slight discomfort or none at all if gelatin is made part of the diet.' " from: http://www.westonaprice.org/bookreviews/eat_right.html sorry if this was more information than what you were asking for... cheers, sabine.
