Guest guest
deb thanks for the post but I already had mine removed - like yours they removed the capsules but didn't do it enbloc. My explant was only $2000 but now I am wondering. I am still pretty sick and was going to go to Dr. Kolb for testing as I can't find a doctor down here hat will believe me as far as candida, mold, etc goes, so I have had no treatment on those items. I had textured salines for 7 years and they were pretty nasty upon removal - I wonder sometimes since I am so sick if maybe some of my capsules still remain. she recommended get an ultrasound to see as with the textured implants, large chunks of the shell were missing and maybe they are still in there. I just don't know where else to turn to get the testing I need to help w/ my disability claim as well as treatment. thanks for your help love shari
Guest guest
deb thanks - I could use a "hug" now! I have had a rough week mentally for sure. I agree about the textured - Dr. Blais said after as long as I had them the little ribbed pieces on the outside broke off and went through my system - I haven't a clue how to get them out. Can't seem to find a doctor down here that gives a crap - not big surprise there. My Rheumy & pain doc understand but they don't really order the testing needed for this mess. love shari
Guest guest
Shari, I apologise. I didn't realize you were post explant. I got my eyes examined today and got contacts, so hopefull I will comprehened better what I read. I'm so silly. I think my eyes were aching because I was straining so much to read. Well, not sure what to say on the texture. Sounds like it may still be inside you. I had smooth, so I do think that probably makes a difference. From what I've read it does. Whatever the case may be I'm sure if they can find it, it can be removed. So, there must be a way to get you better. What my doc says it just keep on keepin on. (my personal friend Doc) hug from me to you, Debhalvey70@... wrote: debthanks for the post but I already had mine removed - like yours they removed the capsules but didn't do it enbloc. Guest guest
Kathe, sorry to say that I haven't heard from Debs since she wrote the group prior to her daughter's wedding. I think of her often. Not an MD I'll tell you where to go!
