Guest guest
Dear Meme, The hard lumps are probably rheumatoid nodules. The Arthritis Foundation website says that are lumps of tissue plus "... Guest guest
Rheumatoid nodules is my guess for the lumps too. I also have them, about pea sized, at the base of each middle finger (nicely symetrical: exactly the same spot on each hand). They just appeared over the past couple of months (or I am just paying a LOT more attention to the condition of my joints and didn't notice them before!) I had thought that they might be rheumatoid nodules, but was not sure. I don't have a clue about the burning sensation though. Marty >Dear Meme, > The hard lumps are probably rheumatoid nodules. Guest guest
Meme, No, I have never experienced that burning you describe. That is strange. I have never heard of that. I hope it doesn't hurt. - > > I tested negative for the RA factor and my disease is quite severe. > > I just recently tested positive for it but when I was diagnosed > over > > 8 years ago, I was negative. > > - > > > > > > > > > > Hello Meme, > > > Your results for RA-RHEUM mean you test negative for the > > rheumatoid factor.
