[ ] Lyme disease: homeopathic cure

Importance: High

This came to me last month from one of my most respected teachers. It

was sent to him. I have shared it with a few others who find this to be of

great value. I do not know the writer(s). Hope it helps.

> Subject: lyme disease

> I have gotten Lyme Disease from a tick bite in January. None of the

doctors in the ER (9 trips) or my doctor (4 trips) recognized the bite, they

said it was a spider bite and not related to my symptoms. I was really sick

for over 4 months. It was finally recognized by my pharmacist when I asked

him what he thought of what was going on with me. He said it was a tick

bite and knew what it looked like because he just moved here from MN so he

saw them before.

> This Lyme has been pretty severe. Pain all over and fevers, joint pain,

swelling, here and there like a crap shoot. My heart doctor said if he

didn't know it was Lyme he would have thought it lupus because of the

telltale rash on my cheeks and fevers. My knees and elbows had swollen and

I lost all feeling and couldn't walk then it went to my spine.

> Three and a half weeks ago on a Wednesday, I went to my doctor since I was

falling due to my spine being painfully swollen and I would lose all power

if I turned or moved. I would just go down. He sent me to the ER because

he thought it might be meningitis and they took lots of blood then put me on

morphine IV. Pain meds don't work on me and just make me wacky. The nurse

said that if she didn't know I had Lyme, she would have thought I had MS.

The blood test showed my liver count was extremely high (ALT normally 30 to

63 was 571) and my liver swollen also and to see my doctor right away. I

made an appt that Friday.

> On the way to the doctor 3 weeks ago from last Friday, I was listening to

the local radio when a naturopath was on talking about natural cures, etc.

I called in and asked about Lyme. She said she cured herself of Lyme and

would call me after the show. She then told me to take Ledum Palustre 30c

which is a homeopathic remedy. It comes from an evergreen bush and no

where online on all the Lyme groups/studies etc., did I find it for a cure

for Lyme or even mentioned. She also said to take a probiotic to offset the

antibiotic, which I was taking also for over 90 days at that point.

> On the other hand, my doctor said my ALT liver test which was so high he

sent me to get an emergency ultrasound hoping it was a stone, even tho' I

don't have a gall bladder anymore. It wasn't. So he concluded that the

Lyme has attacked my liver. It was very painful and swollen. He thought it

might prove to be fatal.

> I was so sick that I didn't go to the Health food store that day since it

is 30 miles away but my husband did go to get it on Saturday, the day after

the radio show. I took 5 little pellets sublingually that afternoon and

again that night and again on Sunday morning. My husband wanted to get me

out of the house so bribed me with breakfast out. I suddenly realized I was

out of pain and felt like a heavy cloud was lifted out of my body. I

couldn't believe it because, after 4 months of constant pain and 4 different

antibiotics, I just took the pellets not believing anything would work for

me. It looked like candy and tasted like it too. I called the naturopath

on Sunday afternoon and she told me I could cut back to once a day. I did

and got worse again by Monday night. So she told me to go back to three

times a day and that is where I am now and I feel great. *UNTIL* I asked the

question online, " What is Ledum Palustre? " See:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ledum

<http://t.ymlp190.com/bwagauyhaaauujsafahh/click.php>

I had found nothing

about it online associated with Lyme. Then on Wikipedia it gave lots of

info including a study done in 1991 by Russia which says they deactivated

Lyme and Encephalitis with it. On that site go to USES. All it says, on

this little $6.99 vial of 80 pellets, is 'insect bites' and Made in France

because they are not allowed to make any claims unless the FDA gives

approval after years of tests. It is all natural and has been used for

thousands of years to treat many illnesses

> Since Lyme is misdiagnosed as lupus, MS, ALS, RA and many other diseases

that they don't find out it is Lyme for many years of wrong treatment either

because they don't remember a tick bite or the Lyme tests were the wrong

ones which are not that accurate. See:

http://www.endowmentmed.org/pdf/updatelyme.pdf

<http://t.ymlp190.com/bqaoauyhafauujsafahh/click.php>

> I have decided to discontinue with my antibiotic a week ago from last

Saturday and not take the IV antibiotics to see if this is the cure. Sure a

lot easier and no side effects. After I am sure I am stabilized for 4

weeks, I will again start on my regimen of vitamins and minerals which I had

to cut back due to the antibiotic reactions.

> So if you know someone who is suffering from Lyme let them know. And if

anyone is suffering from lupus, RA, MS, ALS or any of the other diseases

listed on the endowment website, tell them to get a Lyme titus test and try

the Ledum. It can't hurt and just may give them back their life as it did

to me.

> Hope this helps someone.

> Best to you and Kathy,

Frances

In the body of the text, she says she was

taking 5 pills of 30c 3 times a day. She did adjust the dose as needed.
