Guest guest
Hi Betty, I am also new to this group. Whenver I see someone saying they have hypothyroidism, I can't help pointing out Iodine therapy to them. Iodine therapy has helped many who had thyroid issues - especially hypo's. But maybe you've already looked into all of this, and my post is completely pointless.

Guest guest
Hi Jane. I have hypothyroidism also. I have been taking 2 drops of iodine daily for about 6 months but I do not know if it is enough. What is your protocol. Many thanks Orrilia , lack of iodine in the body may cause hypothyroidism. It used to be in our salt and breads, but was taken out of these foods. Guest guest
The most effective protocol for hypothyroidism is to take 13 mg/day, and ramp up to 50 mg/day for a period of three months. At that time, the body is saturated with iodine, and you can then drop down to 13 mg/day. In some cases, people cannot start out at 13 mg/day due to excessive bromide, fluoride, or fungus in their bodies. In those cases, start with lesser amounts of iodine, or start/stop taking it as necessary. I could not start at 13 mg/day due to severe itching caused by the enzymes emitted by fungus in my skin. I eventually got rid of the fungus after seven months using Cansema black salve (from www.altcancer.com) before I could take 13 mg/day. For the past two weeks, I am up to 50 mg/day without any serious side effects (although my urine is strong, indicating some detoxing is going on). During detoxing, it is advisable to protect your liver and kidneys by taking milk thistle, dandelion root, celery seed, and baking soda. from Israel --- In , jr orrilia <dallas6568@...> wrote: > > Hi Jane. Guest guest
A good place to start is www.drbrownstein.com and http://www.curezone.com/forums/f.asp?f=815 & p=290 Yochanan covered it well. And no, Iodine is definitely NOT the cause of hypothyroidism.
