Guest guest
I suffered from acne for years (I'm waayy past puberty). It was a long time before I realized that my breakouts coincided with my ovulation. Then by the time the acne cleared up, then another cycle would start. I started using the facial wash and toner for normal to oily skin from Earth Science. These were the first products that ever kept my acne under control (without drying out my skin), and are very reasonably priced. Over the last few years, my diet has improved drastically, so I don't tend to have that problem any more. ~~ Jocelyne
Guest guest
Thanks, Jocelyn. Are you eating a traditional, NT style diet? I can only assume that you are, considering you are on this list. a > I suffered from acne for years (I'm waayy past puberty). Guest guest
Hi, I started my son on Dr. Leu’s protocol for acne the other day, the supplements and ProActiv, and what a difference in just a few days!! He looks like a different person! For regular acne, the protocol seems to be a good one. I’ve never seen anything work so quickly. Kenda Cheryl, I've never heard of anyone's skin changing so abruptly! My guess is that it is related to your cleanse since that's what's new. Or . . . the body products you used may be at fault. I would be very careful about what products you put on your skin. . . Nothing with petroleum or artifical scent chemicals! . . . I think Virgin coconut oil is incredible for moisterizing! . . . Use it sparingly and rub it in good. It has antifungal propertes that can help with your cleanse. One of the ladies found that taking clay baths helped her immensely . . . left behind a glittery powder when she started using them. silicone? . . . don't know! Maybe she'll chime in . . . Kathy? . . . You learn more about clay baths through a web search. Hugs, Rogene --- Cheryl <sunbum256@...> wrote: > Rogene, > Quick question. I had my acne under control with antibiotics for several months. But after I got my breast implants, which was six months ago, it came back. Worse than ever. I thought breast implants would enhance my beauty but it's made my life a living hell. I can't even stand to look in the mirror anymore. Guest guest
Liz - I know what you mean. I was in so much pain all the time that it began to show in my appearance. I got the implants to look better, but as my husband put it, " I lost my countenance " . My complexion just looked ruddy, my hair dull and gained 20 extra pounds for no good reason. But I had cleavage! Hugs, Cherie > > > Has anyone experienced an increase in acne after > > implants? > > > > > > > > > > > Absolutley! Guest guest
Casey, Yes, I've definitely noticed an increase in acne. Guest guest
Liz, I couldn't look in the mirror at myself when I had implants, either! The ashen complexion, the boobs, the haunted look in my eyes, ugh!! I'm 3 months post-op and people are telling me how good I look - even though I don't feel well. I just wanted to get a feel for how many women are experiencing the increase in acne. And if there is any known cause for this happening. Guest guest
What I've noticed is that when my body is fighting some type of major illness, my face breaks out. I'm not crazy about doctors, especially after this experience, so I just go with what I've noticed in the past. I think it's because my body is off-balance and unhealthy because of the implants. Guest guest
Retin-A 1% is working well for me. It also has anti aging benefits! I have a prescription for Tretinion 1% (generic for Retin-A). My insurance covers it with a $10. copay. A broad spectrum sun screen must be worn with these products. Other brand names like Avage, Tazorac, etc. are available with a prescription, but very expensive. Ask your MD for samples. Robin
