Guest guest
I have an outside cat who we call Momma...she has had a very large sore on her forehead right above her eye. I have put everything I can think of on it and it would not heal and she has had it for quite some time which began to really worry me because her eye was starting to be effected. I decided to try a topical solution of MMS with some DMSO and see if this would help. I started out with a 6 drop dose of activated MMS and 1/2 tsp of DMSO and though that seemed to help it was still going along very slowly. The next time I decided I'd try a 15 drop dose of activated MMS with 1 tsp of DMSO...I told my husband to expect a miracle and boy did we get one. After only one dose of 15 drops of MMS/DMSO the sore was half the size and now after another dose it is nearly gone. Tonight I gave another topical dose and expect the sore to be gone in a few days. I did not do this every day just every couple of days. I also felt if she licked this solution off her paws [from cleaning the sore] as cats are wont to do it would also help and it surely has. Chalk up another miracle for MMS/DMSO. Sandy
Guest guest
If that was ringworm, be careful , It is contagious to humans.Cats are notorious ring worm carriers. Guest guest
... This did not look like any ringworm I have ever seen...wouldn't she also have others on her body if it was ringworm? This sore had a big scab and was running. I'll do some checking on the web about ringworm in Cats...she what it says. Thanks for the suggestion. Guest guest
My dog had ringworm this year the sore was large and oozey because he scratched it. I didnt think about using MMS on it.but acording to the vet once it is in the hair folicles it is difficult to treat topicly. Was the sore circular in shape? The vet diagnosed it with a black light . the hair folicles kind of glowed. Guest guest
No, the sore is not circular...it follows along her forehead and around the top portion of her eye. It looks great today. I never see her scratching it but of course that does not mean she doesn't. What did the vet give you to cure your dog? I know ringworm is a fungus so it must have been some type of fungicide.
