They go forward alright- right on down the road of life usually without much looking back. I'm not saying this is positive or negative, it just is what it is. There are many groups that I'm not very active on anymore and this has been one of them. I came back because of trying MMS2. I'll try anything at least once and even though I'm not to wild about MMS1 I'm still game to try MMS2 so that's why I'm back here. Yeah, remember the story of the 10 lepers that were healed and only ONE returned to LOUDLY give praise to God. Right or wrong, that's still pretty much just the way it is. It would seem natural to me to shout it from the root tops if healed, and to also lend a helping hand to those left behind. Remember the story of the Good Samaritian. Most know the story of how the samaritian took pity on someone they saw who had been beaten, robbed, and left for dead, while a priest and a levite also saw the man, but both went out of their way to avoid him. I use to think great compassion and gratitude had to be birthed through great suffering. I still think there is truth to that, but not always. The remaining 9 lepers also had to have suffered greatly also. Sometimes suffering will make a person very bitter. Interestingly enough, in both stories, it was a samaritian that returned giving thanks and praise to God, and it was a samaritian that stopped to help his fellow brother. I mention it because at heir time, they were the ones hated and despised by society. I find that quite interesting. Right or wrong, the sick are also often hated and despised by society. Oh, it's not actually said that way, but many people just don't want to be bothered with them. Few will stay behind to help bear the burden. Amazingly, I find the internet actually a great place to get a helping hand. And I have discovered compassion and gratitude can only give birth, not so much in circumstances, but rather anywhere in pliable hearts.
