Hi All,

There's a really important ballot initiative CA is trying to get

passed to help ban gestation crates, veal crates and battery cages.

HSUS and Farm Sanctuary are sponsoring it. We've been getting

signatures for the last couple months and the deadline is Feb 20. We

still need over 150,000 (need 650,000 total). If you know anyone in

CA can you please make sure they've signed the petition and if they

want to help get signatures they can go to

http://www.humanecalifornia.org/.

This initiative, if passed, will help over 20 million farm animals a

year in CA alone.
