Guest guest
Jim, Is it normal for the skin to sting so much after applying transdermal magnesium? I tried, but could not stand the stinging so i rinsed it off, and have not done it again. Is there something i can do so it won't sting? Thanks
Guest guest
Well, yes... maybe. But here are some thoughts that may help you: I am winging it here based on the formula for making it from the earlier post, but you might try boiling a small amount of water and adding it to your magnesium oil... thereby diluting it. We are all different, but I like a little sting... sorta like after shave. My sister once asked me how much to apply... my answer was as little as possible in one place. I still believe that to be true. Still, if you ever get even a mild cramp, you are not getting enough into your system. Then I would go to a warm water foot bath using a high volume of (preferably) magnesium chloride flakes. I spray the oil on my hand and rub it in my skin... same as the gel .... .that may also help you. I like the gel better than the oil and it seems easier to control.
