Guest guest
Hi Reggie and all, Thanks so much for your welcome and all the info. I work as a personal fitness trainer in the San Francisco East Bay Area, and so health and fitness are an important part of my lifestyle. I have sensitivities toward all dairy, eggs, casein, and certain nuts (almonds, cashews, peanuts) -- so I am kind of " forced " to be mostly vegan. I am seeing a Naturopath for my digestive issues. I became interested in macrobiotic cooking about a year ago but became so busy with my business I've let it slide. But now that I " officially " know what my food limitations are (I got the blood test) I am making an effort and a New Years resolution to return to macrobiotics. Guest guest
Hey Elaine, I'll cook for you for a few days if you train me. lol Most people do have allergies, etc to dairy, etc but either ignore it or get used to it or chalk the reactions up as something that happens in life. We're simply not meant to consume the milk of another species, we're the only one that does. It causes allergies, cancers, acne, weight gain, behavioral problems, anemia, asthma, ear infections,.... check out www.notmilk.com Waxman, my pal here is a great counselor who has been in the biz for 28 years and raised 7 wonderful kids, she's a real expert on foods so if you need her you can get a consult through 's site as I mentioned in the welcome speech. There really are some great people here, I'm so lucky they are here. I hope you enjoy the ride...
