Guest guest
Me, I am big on Vitamin D... they say when you are ill to take 1000 IU for every lb of body weight for 3 days.. It works for colds and flu.. I had the lightest cold ever and it didn't go into bronchitis or pnuemonia and I have bad lungs. So that means if you way 120 lbs take 120,000 IU per day for 3 days. Klara From: Debbie Goodrich Subject: west nile feverDate: Wednesday, December 17, 2008, 6:57 AM A friend has been diagnosed with West Nile fever. The doctors tell her that there is no "cure " and she just has to wait until it passes out of her body. It seems to me that she could do with something that would , at the very least, strengthen her immune system. Anyone know anything about this disease and what she should be doing ? Guest guest
Oh yes.. this only applies to vitamin D3. I have no idea how much D2 one would need to take, probably double. Guest guest
Dr Mercola recommends not taking any Vitamin D2 - it is the synthetic form of Vitamin D, natural sunlight is the best form of getting vitamin D3, but if you need, take vitamin D3 orally. If you have the time, you can watch his video or read about vitamin D over here. It is very interesting and important information. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2008/12/16/my-one-hour-vitamin-d-lecture-to-clear-up-all-your-confusion-on-this-vital-nutrient.aspx Best wishes Fern

Guest guest
Reg, If you are otherwise heatlhy and not overweight, you can make it yourself in a tanning bed. Just make sure it provides specifically ultraviolet B radiation. Just toast for about 10 to 15 minutes without sunscreen each day for about 5 days... or even longer depending on how you feel. Guest guest
ah Reggie, see what too much b-day cake can do?!! told you you should have sent me some how yucky are you feeling? If it's in the throat (or lungs I guess, but I can't feel that, it's usually my throat that feels scratchy) I go for lotus tea, a few times a day, and it's works miracles for me. Guest guest
Never going to a tanning bed. I do live in Florida so I am exposed to plenty of sunlight. I am now in West Virginia where it is cold and absolutely beautiful.... I'm run down. Gotta rest. Need a vacation. Some people believe the only way to do hard work is by a traditional sense of a job, going to work with some boss and have specific duties that you get a salary for. I don't do that exactly. I get paid in love and pride with my beautiful daughter. It's worth much more than paper money.... Peace, Reggie > > > > From: Debbie Goodrich > > Subject: west nile fever > > Date: Wednesday, December 17, 2008, 6:57 AM > > > > > > A friend has been diagnosed with West Nile fever. Guest guest
LOL I think I had 2 small slices.... Just run down or touching something yukky at the gym. I won't be able to get any lotus tea till Tues I think and hopefully by then I'll be all better. Sounds good though... I am feeling tired and yes scratchy throat and like something is starting to build up in my lungs as it's now in the bottom of my throat, does that make sense? xo R > > > > From: Debbie Goodrich > > Subject: west nile fever > > Date: Wednesday, December 17, 2008, 6:57 AM > > > > > > A friend has been diagnosed with West Nile fever. Guest guest
we've talked before how we don't take vitamins as part of mb remedies - tho being in sun is always wonderful maybe it was the weather clash from what you were used to if no lotus, then just good ol' kudzu/ume tea - also amazing for so much From: purpleveg <purpleveg@...>Subject: Re: Fw: [israel_Wholistic_Forum] west nile fever Date: Thursday, December 18, 2008, 5:27 AM Never going to a tanning bed.
